Showcasing the Future of South African Boxing
For the past few years, I’ve been on a mission to highlight the incredible talent within South Africa’s boxing community. Traveling to various gyms and events, I film and document athletes who show great promise and potential, many of whom might not yet have the spotlight they deserve.
This project is driven by my passion for the sport and my belief that these athletes have what it takes to make it to the top. However, capturing their journey and showcasing their skills comes with its own set of challenges. The equipment I use, from cameras to editing software, requires a significant investment—not just in money but in time and energy as well.
Through my work, I aim to give these athletes a platform where their hard work and dedication can be seen by a wider audience. I hope to inspire others to support and recognize the potential within our local boxing scene.
